Every custom pickup in the Reed James Collection is custom wound. These pickups are not wound until you place the order so they will meet your needs and taste in tone. I will wind them for the tone you want.

With the introduction of our Robowound™ products and technology, we offer some of our more popular pickups as standard items. If you are looking for that vintage PAF tone, the only way to achieve it is with technology that duplicates the winding pattern, an impossible task by hand!

While we continually expand the range of pickups we offer, I will build a custom pickup for any instrument, even if it is not on our list, as long as we can specify the requirements.
